Comedy clubs, live music venues, star spottng in Hollywood and possibly attend an NBA or NHL game live, Ventura Blvd, the Academy Museum Griffith Observatory and more.
We are excited to offer our new MUSIC CITIES USA TOUR, open to travellers aged 18* and over at the time of departure on approx February 2nd, 2025.
Day 1-4: Los Angeles
Day 1: Depart Australia, Arrive in Los Angeles, and be met by W Tours staff. Check into your hotel.
Day 2: Morning tour of Hollywood, and Griffith Observatory. This evening we will hit the comedy clubs for open mic night !
Day 3: Day free in LA for either Santa Monica or Universal Studios.
Day 4: Farmers Market, Ventura Blvd, Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and NBA basketball !
Day 5-11: Nashville
Day 5: Fly to Nashville, check into your hotel.
Day 6: Immerse yourself in country music at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.. Tour “Studio B” or the Johnny Cash Museum. Cowboy/Cowgirl boot and hat shopping !
Day 7: Day free in music city. Tonight possibly attend the NHL ice hockey with “the Preds” , Nashville’s team !
Day 8: Visit the Grand Ole Opry for a live show or tour during the day including some outlet mall shopping.
Day 9: Experience Nashville's food scene with a food tour or visit local eateries known for Southern cuisine.
Day 10: 1/2 Day tour to historic Franklin to learn about the major battle during the Civil War and enjoy a whisky distillery tour.
Day 11: Explore the vibrant honky-tonks on Broadway and catch live music performances of up and coming artists.
Day 12-16: Memphis
Day 12: Travel from Nashville to Memphis, stopping at the Tina Turner museum enroute where Tina grew up near Brownsville
Day 13: Visit Graceland, the former home of Elvis Presley, and explore the impressive Elvis museum and exhibitions.
Day 14: Discover the history of blues music at the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum and Sun Studios.
Day 15: Visit the powerful National Civil Rights Museum and explore Beale Street for more live music and local cuisine.
Day 16: Depart Memphis for Australia.
Day 17: In transit across the international dateline.
Day 18: Arrive Australia.
Tour costs including international flights, airport and inter-city transfers, introductory sightseeing tours in each city, accommodation in 3 star minimum rated hotels throughout, and sightseeing highlights along the way….as well as our experienced tour leaders with intimate local knowledge. The tour cost also includes entry to Graceland, Sun Studios, Country Music Hall of Fame, Blues Hall of Fame Museum, and the National Civil Rights Museum.
The tour is paid off via instalments over 2024/25. Don’t be afraid to tour on your own as we will match single people up to room with their fellow travellers of the same gender to save on single supplements on tour.
