    Starting our tour in the City of Gold, you will trace Mandela’s footstep, learn about his early Law career, visit his presidential offices, Soweto and the Apartheid Museum. Great food, shopping along the way.

    Your tour will continue with a private game park safari, before heading to the inspiring Kruger national park to encounter the “big 5” with a number of game drives. Stay inside the park at one of the famous rest camps.

    Your south African journey will finish with the amazing Cape Town. You will visit Robben Island, Table Mountain, walk with Penguins and visit the Cape of Good Hope. brilliant fresh seafood, steaks and shopping await!

Day 1-3: Johannesburg

  • Day 1: Arrive PM in Johannesburg, check into your hotel. Welcome drink on arrival.

  • Day 2: Visit the Mandela Presidential Offices

  • Day 3: Soweto and Apartheid Museum Tour

Day 4-8: Kruger National Park

  • Day 4: Depart Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

  • Day 5: Kruger National Park Game Drive

  • Day 6: Kruger National Park Game Drive

  • Day 7: Day Free Kruger National Park. Enjoy golf, a spa treatment or additional game drives . Optional Sunrise and Sunset Game drives.

  • Day 8: Kruger National Park Game Drive

Days 9-14 - Cape Town

  • Day 9: Kruger National Park to Cape Town

  • Day 10: Cape Town Day Free

  • Day 11: Robben Island visit and visit Mandela’s prison camp

  • Day 12: Day tour to Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Beach….Home of the penguins

  • Day 13: Final day Cape Town for additional sightseeing and last minute shopping

  • Day 14: Depart Cape Town

Tour costs including international flights, airport and inter-city transfers, twin share accommodation in 3-4 star minimum rated hotels throughout with breakfast daily, and sightseeing highlights along the way….as well as our experienced tour leaders with intimate local knowledge.

The tour is paid off via instalments over 2026/27. Don’t be afraid to tour on your own as we will match single people up to room with their fellow travellers of the same gender to save on single supplements on tour.
